All 400 channels can be programmed for digital operation, analog operation, or both.  Frequencies programmed for mixed-mode operation recognize the format of a received signal and automatically transmit in the same format.

The D series mobile radio also has the ability to clone group information from BK Radio portables; DPH, GPH, EPH, and LPH.

Additional economies are realized by using the accessories you already have for other BK Radio units such as antennas, microphones, and cloning and programming cables.
