Maxon Data / Telemetry radios are affordable for any data radio applications. The SD-170E is an up featured improvement of the original and very widely deployed Maxon SD-170. It is available in VHF (146-174 MHz) and UHF (450-490 MHz).

The SD-170E design has the most often requested mechanical footprint and RS-232 I/O in this market. It is equipped with a BNC antenna connection and DE-15 (High Density 15 pin) data port. The high performance package is fi tted in a cast aluminum cabinet and lid for exceptional environmental durability.

This radio is very effective in back haul applications with directional links easily exceeding 20 miles in range. These radios are highly effective in most Data/Telemetry applications.
